Reservation is like a usual reservation through hotel. There is no deposit and can be cancelled without penalty. No mess no worry. Check in was easy, through the front desk. Some other place requires you to visit check in place outside the hotel. Staffs are friendly. This place is like a regular apartment with living room, kitchen and all the amenities that you usually have at home. Place is beautiful and worth every penny. Orlando is very busy at this time of the year. Street outside the hotel is almost always busy, luckily it was just a short drive to Disney.

Was worried when we saw that many similar class hotels are charging north of $200/night, and the owner gave us 2 bedroom suite at relatively very low rate. It turned out to be better than our expectation. Owner is friendly and booking can be done through secured website. Best of all we can conveniently cancel or change our reservation online. And we pay at front desk at the time we checked out; just like what the ad says. Place is beautiful, and worth way more than the regular hotel room. The kids friendly pool is also a great play area for our 2 yrs old girl. Overall, we are very happy and will be back to Blue Heron in our next trip to Orlando.

Location is perfect. Checked in at front desk with ease. Rooms are clean and well furnished. Tv are kind of outdated, but we are not there to watch TV anyway. Having a full kitchen really helped us save a lot of money. The views from balcony were fantastic. The mentions about the views on many of the reviews are true. Our family enjoy every minute staying in this hotel. The only complaint is that in December, Orlando is extremely busy and traffic is everywhere. Just be patient!

Visited Orlando many many times and stayed in many hotels all around Orlando. Some were more expensive and higher rated than Blue Heron Beach Resort. I saw many comments of the breathtaking views from this resort's, and it is truly amazing. The distance to Disney, and the space you get for the money, just ... unbelievable. I will surely be back to this place next time I visit Orlando. Thanks Kong for introducing this resort to us!

We had a few choices before we chose this place, World Quest or Blue Heron Beach Resort. World Quest is a little more expensive and have higher rating. We guessed that with 4+ guest ratings, the amenities will not be too much different anyway. We decided to stay at Blue Heron just because owner was more straight forward and nicer. And he offered no penalty cancellation option. We are glad that we went with Blue Heron Beach Resort. The 1 bedroom suite we stayed has a king bed and 2 bunks for the kids. You will appreciate the washer and dryer in unit, esp in the hot weather of Orlando! Dining table was nicely arranged and full kitchen allowed us to prepare food. And you should see the views from balcony and observation deck, man... beautiful! I just felt lost. What I can tell you is that if you stay elsewhere, you will miss these extras! We enjoyed everything this hotel has to offer!

We just made a decision 2 days prior to our trip and sent to many vacation owners. Kong responded to our inquiry and questions very promptly. He gave us a link to reserve our suite, and within minutes, our accommodation were set. Blue Heron Beach Resort is an outstanding hotel. Staffs were friendly, kitchen is with granite counter top and many other nice amenities you will not find in regular hotel rooms. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Had an option of Disney hotel or Blue Heron Beach Resort with half the price. We are glad that we chose Blue Heron! Had a 2 bedrooms 2 baths deluxe suite with one balcony facing the lake and the other facing Disney. The views are just great! Although it is quite near to Disney Resorts, I would suggest that you rent a car. Depending on cab is going to cost you quite a lot. Not worth the saving and the convenience.

Stayed for 10 nights with kids, visiting theme parks and doing outdoor activities. Blue Heron's location is unbeatable, close to everything you need and to the major theme parks. Hotel amenities are good, unbeatable if you compare to non-suite hotel. Although towels are not refreshed daily, we got washer and dryer inside the suite to our convenience. Eating out is easy, but expensive. thus we save by buying our groceries in the nearby Pubix supermarket and cook half of the time. As we have kids, I appreciated the security devices installed at the parking, and elevators. I do not think that we will ever get a better deal with such a comfort and nice amenities anywhere else in the city.

Loved it here! We made our reservations with Kong (2 bed/2 bath) and it
saved $10 a night and guaranteed us the room on the 8th floor. There
are 2 floors of parking first, so we were really on the 10th floor.
Great view. Nice to have the kitchen and washer/dryer. Beautifully
furnished. Other reviews mention the grocery store within walking
distance, saying it is expensive. I want to confirm that. If you have
the time, go to another grocery store. There are several within a few
miles. Other reviews also mention alot of traffic in this area. It was
not a problem at all for us. This was a great location and conveniently
located near all the attractions and many restaurants. I would
definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. I know there are so
many places to choose from and I spent a lot of time trying to find the
best place/price. I made the right choice!! So if you are reading this
review, chances are you are doing the same research I was doing. Stop
your search now. Book your stay here. A special thank you to Kong, who

Looking for an affordable accommodation for a family of 4, that is near Disney, and not too crappy. We found many good reviews of Blue Heron and decided to try it. It turns out that for the price, Blue Heron was far better than our expectation. Our family enjoyed the property very much. Blue Heron has a great location next to the interstate and really close to Disney. Property was well maintained inside and outside. Nice decor spacious rooms and good amenities. We had a great stay with this property.

Our stay at the Blue Heron was wonderful. Went with my sister and a friend. We really enjoyed it. There is no restaurants in the Resort, but Blue Heron Beach Resort is close to every eatery possible. There is a Starbucks right at the front gate. Two bedroom and two bathrooms for three women was just perfect. Loved the views from both rooms. It was refreshing experience every morning and tranquilizing in the evening. We have to do some works even during this vacation, and the internet provided is just what we need. The kitchen and the whole layout of the condo was excellent. Looking forward to our next trip with the family.

Owner provides the rate access code to get the owner rate from Blue Heron Beach Resort site. We checked with aAa, Expedia, Travelocity. The owner rate is the lowest rate available. Deluxe room was spacious and nicely decorated. Way more spacious than Disney Hotels. Also, definitely nicer than a regular hotel. Pools were clean and heated. Lake is nice saw people skiing, but no swimming on the lake allowed. Parking was in a covered secured parking space. Free shuttles were nice too. Liquor store, grocery, drug stores, and many restaurants around the resort. Convenient, close to Disney and Seaworld and very inexpensive. Would definitely be back again.

The service was great, just like a hotel. The rooms were nicely furnished. Unlike regular hotel, this suite has 2 bedrooms with nice kitchen and everything you need for cooking and dining. There are lots of stores and restaurants around so we decided not to cook. The great thing about this hotel is it is by the lake. View from the balcony and the wetland overseeing the lake is very nice. We have a 3 year old, so appreciate the gated kid swimming pool. Although this resort feels new and great, the TV is not plasma or LCD; a little out of place. But overall this is a nice place to stay with your family. We'll stay again.
